Jubbaland State President Ahmed Madobe meets with International agencies in Kismayo town

Jubaland State President Ahmed Madobe has on Saturday held meeting with representatives of a number of international donor agencies operating in the regional state. The meeting covered a variety of issues key being how the agencies across the state can help the Somali people affected by the ongoing devastating drought and those displaced by natural calamities. The State leader called on the representatives of the agencies to play a pivotal role in initiating new development projects in the regional State particularly in the new districts of Burdhubo and Dhobley recently approved by the cabinet. Madobe also exhorted the representatives to put more effort on the providing job opportunities for the hundreds of youth who have finished their education. The Representatives pledged to help people affected by the drought and the internally displaced people living in various camps across the regional State. They also promised to consider and absorb the unemployed youth in the State. Madobe was accompanied in the meeting by Jubbaland State Minister of Security, Gen. Yusuf Hassan Osman Dhumal, Minister of Public Works and Housing, Engineer Ismail Ahmed Garas and Dhobley District Commissioner Siyad Muhumed Hassan
