Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre visits the new Cabinet office in the capital Mogadishu

Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has visited the new cabinet office in the capital Mogadishu. The Prime Minister visited the cabinet office, which is undergoing renovation on Tuesday. He was accompanied by the outgoing Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble and other senior government officials Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) on the inspection tour. Among them included outgoing Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi Khadar Guleid, Interior Minister Abdullahi Mohamed Nur, Deputy Information Minister Abdirahman Sheikh Yusuf Al-Adala, Police Chief Gen. Abdi Hassan Hijaar and Banadir police commander Farhan Mohamud alias Farhan Qarole. On June, 2022 outgoing Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble had visited the construction work of the new Head Quarters and instructed the engineers to complete the work on time. The new quarters consists of Government Offices, office of Prime Minister, Guest House and other essential facilities. The building, which is nearing completion, will be the first time the Prime Minister and his Cabinet will operate outside the Somali Presidential Palace better known as Villa Somalia.
