Somalia's Int'l Partners call on Somali MPs to elect a good leader

Somalia's international partners have called on Somali lawmakers to vote their conscience and vote for a candidate they believe offers the policies and leadership qualities to advance peace, stability, prosperity, and sound governance in the years ahead. In a joint statement on Saturday, the Int'l partners, urged the MPs to discharge their constitutional responsibility in the best interest of the country. Somalia is set to hold Presidential elections tomorrow after almost a year and half of delay occasioned by wrangles among top Somali leaders over the management of the elections. The country's police force command has imposed curfew in the city in what they said was to beef up the security in the capital and allow free flow of traffic for candidates and election officials. .
