PM Roble Chairs National Security Conference In Mogadishu

Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has today chaired a national security conference with the country’s top security commanders and officials from African Union Mission In Somalia (AMISOM). According to the office of the premier, the meeting focused on strengthening security in the country, fighting terrorism, accelerating security in Mogadishu and strengthening electoral security. ''His Excellency Mohamed Hussein Roble, Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, today chaired a national security conference on strengthening security in the country, fighting terrorism, accelerating security in Mogadishu and strengthening electoral security.'' the office of the prime minister said in a statement. The meeting was attended by members of the Security Forces and the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM). The premier praised the security agencies and the AMISOM Command for their efforts to eradicate the groups that are afflicting the Somali community and stressed the need to continue operations to liberate terrorist strongholds.
