Five MPS elected in South West State Baidoa as FEIT Chairman visits Kismayo

South West State Electoral delegates have on Wednesday successfully elected in South West's capital Baidoa 5 lawmakers to Lower House of Somalia's Federal Parliament in line with the recent National Consultative Council meeting pact in Mogadishu that called for speedy expedition and accelerations of elections across the country. In other news, the newly elected Somali Federal Electoral Commission chairman Muse Guelleh Yusuf on Wednesday morning led a delegation to pay a visit to Jubbaland capital, Kismayo, where they were welcomed and received at Kismayo International Airport by Dr. Siyad Mohamed Mursal and other members of the Jubbaland State Electoral Committee. The purpose of the visit of the chairman in Kismayo is to oversee ongoing elections of the six seats in the House of the People of the Federal Parliament, which were released by the Jubbaland State Commission. Guelleh is also expected to hold meetings with the Jubbaland Electoral Commission Members and President Ahmed Mohamed Islam Ahmed Madobe to discuss ways of accelerating the parliamentary elections
