Gen. Huud lands in Mogadishu to hold talks with Farmaajo
Somali National Army's (SNA) infantry forces commander Mohamed Tahlil Bihi, and the Mutineered General Abukar Huud, Commander of Hiiraan Salvation Forces has departed from Beledweyne to Mogadishu. The two generals landed at Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu, where they were greeted by Somali government troops and officials. Speaking to the media at the Airport, General Abukar Hud said that the purpose of his visit to Mogadishu was to meet with President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, and that he was committed to finding fairness. "I came to Mogadishu to make concessions to the federal government, there were no talks between us in Hirshabelle and I came to Mogadishu to discuss our rights with the president of Somalia," said General Hud. The commander of the infantry, Mohamed Tahliil, who spoke to the media briefly, thanked all those who took part in concluding the talks, with special thanks to General Hud and Ugas Yusuf Ugas Hassan Ugas Khalif. In the coming hours, General Huud is expected to meet with President Farmajo for the first time since the formation of the second Hirshabelle, where Abukar Hud declared that Hirshabelle is not a recognized administration in the current Hiraan region.
