Somali Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdisaid Muse Ali, on Friday, held a phone conversation with his Venezuelan counterpart, Felix Plasencia.
According to the Somali foreign affairs minister, the conversation centred on enhancing bilateral relations including exploring economic cooperation and on upcoming multilateral engagements.
”Had the pleasure today talking to Felix Plasencia, Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Relations of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,” Minister Abdisaid said.
Somalia’s Foreign Minister reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to work with the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to advance the economic development and prosperity of Somalia and Venezuela.
MinisterFelix Plasencia said he discussed with his counterpart various options for establishing alliances in economic matters between the two countries.
”We had a cordial telephone conversation with the Foreign Minister of Somalia, Abdisaid Muse Ali, focused on strengthening bilateral dialogue and multilateral cooperation,” he said.
