Opposition Candidates Welcome Dismissal Of NISA Chief Fahad Yasin

The Council of Presidential Candidates welcomed Prime Minister Roble's decision to sack the director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency, Fahad Yassin. In a statement, the council said the decision was key to bringing justice to the family of Ikraan Tahliil who is alleged to have been killing by the Somali spy agency  They said the decision was vital to bringing justice to the Ikraan Tahliil family abducted and killed.  "The council considers this to be the key to bringing justice to the family of Ikraan Tahliil who was abducted and killed. It is also the beginning of the restoration of the agency reputation, ” the statement read in part. Prime Minister, Mohamed Hussein Roble, has suspended the chief of the country’s intelligence agency, Fahad Yasin over the death of the female spy agent late last night. President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo rejected the decision by the premier on Monday morning that declared Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble's dismissal of Somalia's spy chief "illegal" and "unconstitutional."
