PM Roble Gives NISA Chief Fahad Yasin 48hrs To Issue Report On Missing Agent Ikran

Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has ordered the Director of the nation's Somali intelligence agency, Fahad Yassin to submit a full report on Ikraan Tahliil's case with in 48 hours. The premier asked the intelligence agency to come clear and on the matter on the missing female spy agent Ikran Tahlil. He termed the National Intelligence and Security Agency's (NISA) statement blaming Al-Shabaab for the murder unconvincing and unacceptable calling on the public to be calm. The remarks by the prime minister come just hours after Ikran’s mother, Qali Guhad in an interview pleaded the prime minister to intervene on the matter. The opposition and Somali netizens expressed outrage after NISA ‘revealed’ in Thursday Ikran who went missing since June was abducted and killed by Al-Shabaab. The militant group quickly distanced themselves from the killing and abduction of Ikran. 24-year-old Ikran Tahlil Farah was kidnapped June 26 near her home in Mogadishu’s Abdulaziz district, which is close to the agency’s headquarters
