Somaliland pardons 5 men convicted of terrorism

Five terror prisoners have been released from prison after Somaliland leader Muse Bihi pardoned them.  The men who were convicted of terror-related charges were identified as Abdurahman Indho Adde, Jama Kutiye, Daud Salah Idle Osman Yusuf, and Abdullahi Mohamud Yusuf. Speaking to the media Abdirahman Indho who warned of the convicts said he served 25 years behind bars before the Somaliland president pardoned him. "I am very grateful to those who took part in my release. I have been imprisoned for 25 years. I have been pardoned by the president. Three of my friends have been released," Abdirahman Indho said. Abdillahi Mohamud Yusuf, who spent three years and seven months in prison on charges of involvement with ISIS, has also been released. Yusuf thanked the president for his release. Two others served up to 17 years in prison, while the fifth one served for 3 years and 7 months.
