National Consultative Forum Set Kick Off In Mogadishu Today
The National Consultative Forum between the leaders of the Federal Government and the Regional States leaders is set to kick off today in Mogadishu. The talks which were scheduled by Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble for Thursday were postponed due to the prime minister visit to Egypt. The leaders of Jubaland, Galmudug, HirShabelle and Southwest states arrived in the capital Mogadishu on Friday and were welcomed by senior federal government officials at the airport. The leader of Puntland Said Abdullahi Deni is expected to arrive in the capital on today. The meeting is supposed to deliberate on the preparations of the guidelines for the Lower House elections, election funds and implementation of the remaining phases of the elections.
