Somaliland Records 3 New Cases of COVID-19
Somaliland has recorded new cases of COVID-19 followed in the past 48 hours with 3 new cases. The new infections push the tally of confirmed positive cases in the country to 14,779. COVID-19 infections in Somaliland have continued to rise this week according to the to data published by the Somali Ministry of Health. There was no death recorded in the past 24 hours according to the health ministry. Fatalities stand at 774. The ministry further reported 10 more recoveries pushing the number of recoveries since April 2020 to 6,995. Somalia is rolling out the second dose of vaccines to help fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. On April 11, the horn of African country received 200,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccines donated by China to boost its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
