Farmaajo receives credentials from new Indian ambassador
Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo received credentials from the new Ambassador of India to Somalia Virander Kumar Paul on Saturday. President Farmaajo had also received a message and greetings from the Ethiopian president through the new ambassador. The President reiterated his commitment to strengthening Somalia and India ties of development and cooperation. ''President Farmaajo received credentials from the new Ambassador of the Republic of India to Somalia H.E Virander Kumar Paul during a ceremony held Villa Somalia,'' Villa Somalia tweeted. ''President Farmaajo assured FGS's support & dedication to ties for mutual benefit and prosperity,'' Foreign Affairs Minister Abdirizak Mohamed held talks with the new ambassodor and discussed strengthening Somalia-India diplomatic, trade and bilateral ties. ''Earlier today I received the new ambassador of the Republic of India to Soalia H.E Virander Kumar Paul,'' Somali FM Abdirizak Mohamed said. Paul is also the High Commissioner of India to Kenya.
