PM Roble and regional state leaders meet Int'l partners in Mogadishu
Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble held a meeting with the leaders of the federal member's states alongside the Benadir governor and representatives of the international community. The premier briefed representatives of the international community on the agreement reached on the electoral process and the Federal Government of Somalia's commitment to fair and equitable elections. ''Together with the Presidents of the Federal Member States and BRA Governor, I held a meeting with The International Partners whose financial and technical support is key to the implementation of the electoral agreement and the management of election security,'' Prime Minister said in a tweet. The Prime Minister acknowledged the international community for its support and called on them to play their part in holding the elections, especially in the economy and security. The representatives of the international community in Somalia praised the agreement leading to the Prime Minister on Thursday for a state election, they pledged their commitment to support the implementation of the agreement signed with the election. Somalia is expected to hold elections in August this year after an agreement signed by the Somali prime minister and the leaders of the regional states.
