Information Minister condoles death of former Radio Dalsan Editor Ahmed Adow
The media fraternity has been left in mourning following the passing of former Radio Dalsan Editor Ahmed Hussein Adow. Ahmed succumbed to heart complications at Yardimeli hospital in Mogadishu last night while undergoing treatment. Ahmed has been at Radio Dalsan for many years and has mentored journalists in the media today. Somali Information Minister Osman Dubbe sent condoled the demise of the journalist. ''Somalia’s Information Minister Osman Dubbe has sent his profound condolences to @DalsanFM on the death of Ahmed Hussein Adow, a young, talented and well-respected journalist who passed away in Mogadishu on Sunday night after a short illness,'' Somali National TV said in a Twitter post. Somali Independent Media Houses Association (SIMHA) and Somali Journalists Syndicate (SJS) have also sent their condolences to the entire media Somali fraternity and family left behind by veteran Journalist.] ''Somali Journalists Syndicate and member journos deeply mourn with @DalsanFM on the death of renowned radio journalist Ahmed Hussein Addow who passed away in Mogadishu on Sunday following a short illness,'' SJS tweeted.
