PM Roble visits wounded SNA soldiers in military hospital

Somali Prime Minister, Mohamed Hussein Roble on Monday night visited soldiers wounded in Al-Shabaab military bases attack nursing injuries in Military Hospital.

The troops visited by the premier accompanied by Information Minister Osman Dubbe, Health Minister Fawziya Abikar Nur and other military officials were wounded on Saturday attack by the armed group al-Shabaab in Awdhigle and Barire bases in Lower Shabelle region.

“Our wounded National Defense soldiers who I visited at the Military Hospital have high spirits. I pray for a speedy recovery and the government is committed to taking care of them,” PM Roble said.

The Prime Minister was briefed by the doctors on the medical condition of the members of the armed forces admitted in the facilities.

Prime Minister Roble praised the servicemen for their heroic service to the people and government of Somalia while wishing them quick recovery.

He also prayed for members of the national army who lost in their lives in the attack which the government forces  killed 76 militants and captured 10 others.

The premier reiterated his government commitment to provide all necessary support to the troops as they continue their offensive to liberate areas still under the control of the armed group al-Shabaab across the country.
