Somalia’s COVID-19 deaths inch closer to 500
Confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country continue to rise as 325 new cases were recorded in the past 24 hours bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 4,420.
The new infections are from Somaliland (179), Galmudug (39), Puntland (28), Benadir (28) HirShabelle (27), Jubaland (22) and Southwest State with 2 new cases.
The health Ministry also announced the total number of fatalities rose to 414 after 22 people died in the past 24 hours.
The number of COVID-19 cases has been rising in the past two months.
