Four killed as government forces exchange fire

At least four civilians have been killed in an exchange of fire between government forces. The four were caught up as gunfire erupted in Wadajir district. Police officers were conducting operations after mortar shell Halane.   The officers tried to search a house belonging to military official Bile Afdhere but they encountered resistance from military forces who were guarding the official.   Mogadishu mayor Omar Filish and police chief Hijaar Abdi visited the scene, after which the ceasefire ended. Police are yet to release an official communication regarding the incident.
