Former President Sheikh Sharif wants curfew hours reduced for Ramadhan

Former President Hassan Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed has said the government should reduce the curfew hours during Ramadhan.
The leader of Forum for National Parties (FNP)  expressed his concerns over the revised curfew hours which starts  7 p.m to 5 a.m from 8 p.m to 5 a.m previously were not sufficient for performance of ceremonies surrounding the holy month of Ramadan.
He said he was expecting the government to decrease the curfew hours in the month of Ramadan because it is the rush hour for Iftar( the meal eaten by Muslims after sunset during Ramadan).

He added the matter was a burden to the public and accused the government FGS of arresting youths then carrying them in a police car overcrowded which is against set measures to curb the spread of COVID-19, which is caused by Coronavirus.
As of April 23, Somalia confirmed 41 new cases of coronavirus bringing the total number to 328 and the death toll rose to 16 after two more fatalities.
