Breaking: Kenya and Somalia end diplomatic stand-off over oil
Kenya and Somalia have ended a diplomatic standoff over oil reserves . The move came after two hours meeting with president Mohamed Abdualihi Farmajo and Uhuri Kenya at Statehouse Nairobi, in which the two leaders agree to reopen respective embassies. Kenya has accused Somalia of illegally auctioning its oil wells at dispute territories, a case that is still pending at the International Court of Justice Early Wednesday, Abiy Ahmed accompanied his Somalian counterpart to Nairobi to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya on Tuesday. Abiy and Farmaajo left for Nairobi after holding bilateral talks in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa. “During the peace talks in Kenya, the leaders discussed how to peacefully resolve their differences before it turns into a major regional problem.
