Soldiers Killed In Shabaab Bomb Near Mogadishu

The Commander of the 12th April Division  General  Omar Aden Dhabad "Dheere" and his deputy General Abdi Jamame were Thursday killed in a roadside bombing at Dhanane near Jazeera Beach.

Ar least 13 soldiers in the convoy are reported dead, security sources told Radio Dalsan.

AlShabaab has claimed responsibility for the attack through it's affiliate websites.

The area is between the coastal town of Marka and Mogadishu which has recently been a hotspot of clashes between militant group Alshabaab and government troops.
