A regional MP in the Jowhar based Hirshabelle Parliament was on Thursday killed in a car bomb explosion in the Somali capital Mogadishu. The lawmaker is identified as Abdiweli Mohamed Ibrahim. A car bomb fitted on his vehicle exploded in Hamarweyne district in the vicinity of London Gate. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
