A Leader In Lower Shabelle Accuses Alshabab Of Displacing Locals

A leader of a village in the Lower Shabelle region accuses Alshabab of displacing residents as they denied them access to important amenities.

Mr Abukar Abdullahi Isack, the leader of Lego village told Radio Dalsan in an exclusive interview that since August this year when AMISOM forces left the area, locals have faced problems. He said that locals were denied vital amenities such as shelter, water and other important things and this lead many people to move to other towns in the region and some went Banadir region.

Mr Isack finally urged the Somali government and its people to help those displaced from the Alshabab controlled area who are in dire need.
