Alshabab Move Out Of Elbur District

Radio Dalsan has received reports saying that Alshabab fighters who were in Elbur district in Somalia’s Galgadud region were seen moving out of the area. Some local residents who spoke to the media on condition of anonymity confirmed the statement saying that the fighters have backed their arms and ammunition and moved towards Galhareri district in the same region. This comes after the leader of the Galmudug state’s cabinet Sheikh Shakir Ali Hassan announced that there are people who were kept in hostage by Alshabab for seven years and are waiting to be freed by the people of Galmudug. Sheikh Shakir urged the locals to take part in the fight against Alshabab and rescue their people.
