Somali Attorney General Orders Investigation Into The Conduct Of Two Members Of Parliament
The Attorney General of Somalia Dr Ahmed Ali Dahir today told the media that two members of the parliament who are accused of treason will be investigated. Hon. Hassan Macalin Mohamud and Hon. Sabir Noor Shuriye who are elected from Galmudug region are said to take money from foreign countries and used it to create political instability in the country. So far, there is no detailed information about the case as the legislators are yet to issue a communication on this serious allegation against them. Besides this case, there are opposition members of parliament who said earlier that they will table a motion against the top government leaders.
