Section of Somali MPs Rejected Government position on ONLF
Some sections of Somali federal members of parliament have strongly rejected Wednesday government position on ONLF. PM Ali Kheyre government emergency cabinet meeting earlier today has ruled that the deported senior ONLF figure to Ethiopia has links with terror group. Information Minister Abdirahman Yarisow told the reporters the government position over the issue that has divided Somali citizens since extradition of Abdikarim Qalbi Dhagax to Addis Ababa. On their part sections of members of federal parliament said it is very early to recognize the group the group as terror organization since it is not recognized as one in the region. They added that the matter is in the hands of the international community and not Somali govt on how is a terrorist and not. Former Interior minister Abdikarim Guled also lashed claims by some members that he signed law by previous government that termed ONLF as terror organization.
