Somalilanders outraged UNSOM election remarks

The hashtag #educateUNSOM has been trending as a reaction by Somalilanders outraged by the UN agency's recent remarks on Somaliland's participation on Somalia elections. Somalilanders are accusing the UNSOM of interfering with Somaliland's and Somalia's politics. "UNSOM is now becoming part of the problem in Somalia not a solution. The hashtag gave facts why Somaliland should be considered a seperate state from Somalia and indicated the milestones the authority in Hargeysa has been able to achieve ever since it seperated with Mogadishu. Although the breakaway state of Somaliland an ex colony of Britain considers itself separate from Somalia formerly colonized by Italy  Somaliland opposition has taken part in the recently concluded parliamentary elections in Somalia.
